The Bird Park offers a fantastic opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of this South American rainforest at close quarters.

Located near to the entrance to the Iguaçu National Park, the Bird Park is fully integrated into the natural environment with a kilometre long trail that meanders through the rainforest and large walk-through aviaries giving the impression you are simply walking through the rainforest. 

Visitors can marvel over more than 900 rare and colourful birds from 150 different species, most of which are native to the surrounding rainforest.  

The Bird Park also houses caimans, marmosets, spiders and snakes, including a twelve foot anaconda. 

An unforgettable attraction is the walk-through butterfly house which showcases over 25 species of indigenous butterflies living side by side with an array of tiny hummingbirds. 

Entrance to the park is US$ 10 and it is open daily from 08.30 - 17.30 (and 18.30 in the summer months).
