Location:
The Hotel das Cataratas is the only hotel located in the Brazilian Iguaçu National Park, alongside the Iguaçu Falls. 

Getting Here:

By Plane:    
The Foz do Iguaçu International Airport is located on the highway which provides access to the Iguaçu Falls (BR469), 12 kilometers from the Falls.     

By Bus: 
There are a large number of bus services which stop in Foz do Iguassu, inter-municipal, inter-state and international lines.  The bus station is located 5 kilometers from the city centre on Avenida Costa e Silva.

By Car: 
The main links to Foz do Iguassu are on the BR-277.  This road links the city with Curitiba, Porto de Paranaguá and São Paulo.  
BR-469 provides access to the Iguaçu National Park and the Iguaçu International Airport.  

Visa Requirements
As the Brazilian Foreign Office bases its policy on reciprocity, visitors from certain foreign countries will require a visa. Visas can be obtained from the nearest Brazilian Embassy or Consulate and are usually processed within two working days. For a tourist visa, you will need to show your passport, valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, one passport-size photograph and a round-trip ticket.
