Visiting the Park |
Since attaining recognition from UNESCO the Iguassu Park has been modernised and now offers comprehensive tourist facilities. Efforts are consistently made to reduce the impact of tourism on this protected area whilst allowing visitors from all over the world to marvel at the natural wonder of the Iguassu Falls.
Access to the National Park is made through the Visitors Center which is located outside the preservation area. At this point private vehicles must be parked. Once inside the Park, visitors are transported by 72 seat panoramic open top bus. |

There are extensive walkways throughout the Iguassu National Park, facilitating walking and trekking in the area.
Within the park facilities include:
- Visitors Centre
- Souvenir Shop
- Food Court
- Toilets
- First Aid Room
- ATM Machines
- Public telephones
From April to September the National Park can be visited 7 days a week between 9.00 and 17.00. In the summer months this is extended an additional hour until 18.00. | | |
