Visiting the Park
Since attaining recognition from UNESCO the Iguaçu Park has been modernised and now offers comprehensive tourist facilities. Efforts are consistently made to reduce the impact of tourism on this protected area whilst allowing visitors from all over the world to marvel at the natural wonder of the Iguaçu Falls.
Access to the National Park is made through the Visitors Center which is located outside the preservation area. At this point private vehicles must be parked. Once inside the Park, visitors are transported by 72 seat panoramic view double decker buses, with open top floors.
