To experience the full magic of the Iguassu Falls, walking tours of both the Brazilian and Argentinean side are a must.
The Brazilian side gives the advantage of wide, expansive panoramic vistas, showcasing the beauty of this natural phenomenon. For the more adventurous, tours on the Argentinean side allow you to walk along the base of several falls, and even across the top of some of the falls.
Walkers should take a rain coat and waterproof camera protection as the mist from the falls will certainly make you much more than damp!
It is rare to experience a real tropical wilderness. Yet at the Iguassu National Park the kilometers of walkways and trails will allow you intimate contact with one of the world's most beautiful rainforests.
As you walk through the lush vegetation, with the roar of the waterfalls in the background, colourful birds flit through the trees, and exotic blooms of orchids and wildflowers adorn the rainforest floor. |
